CIRCUITO DE CALAFAT

The Circuito de Calafat is located in the town of L’Ametlla de Mar along Spain’s Costa Dorada between Barcelona and Valencia. The Urbanización Calafat situated next to the track is just 800 metres from the warm waters of the Mediterranean where you will find the gorgeous sandy beaches of Les Veles and Platja de l'Almadrava!
The circuit was opened in 1974 but comprehensive renovations including a superb new surface ensures that the flat but extremely challenging circuit offers high grip levels and huge smiles too!
Its 16 corners - 9 right and 7 left make for an exciting but tricky challenge and careful control and constant alertness is required to master this incredible track. Don’t expect to start smashing records on your first day, this one takes time to learn and time to beat, but once you do this is an incredible circuit to pin on your list of racing achievements!
The Circuit de Calafat is in a beautiful location right on the coast and one thing you can be almost certain of is the wonderful weather the Costa’s provide nearly all year round turning your trackday event into a superb holiday break too!

Despite being a pretty flat circuit, Calafat is a challenging track with some exciting corners and a great power straight. This is a track that needs to be studied and deliberated… those that think they can ride it out of the box will be caught out very quickly!
