The most famous motor racing circuit in Spain, Jerez is located in Andalucía close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, 90 km (56 mi) south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. Jerez actually hosted five Spanish and two European Formula 1 Grand Prix during the 80’s and 90’s and was famous for the controversial 1997 European Grand Prix where Michael Schumacher intentionally collided with Jacques Villeneuve in an attempt to win the World Championship! This track has hosted racing royalty, make no doubt about that!

Formula 1 aside, Jerez has hosted probably the most ‘must-attend’ races on both the MotoGP and World Superbike Championship calendars with capacity crowds of up to 200,000 turning out year-on-year to view the action. Jerez also remains a popular winter test venue for superbike teams thanks to its temperate climate… a climate we would call lovely!

Boasting an incredible 4,421 metres of smooth, grippy tarmac, the Jerez circuit is made up of five left hand corners, eight right hand corners and a series of short straights to push the excitement level to 11… Jerez has all the excitement you would ever want – and more!

For spectators Jerez is well known for its 'flying saucer' viewing platform - a glass-walled disk that is actually straddled above and across the track, giving spectators a VIP 360° view of the action!
